Bewaar de moederbestanden op minstens twee locaties en vervang regelmatig het opslagmedium (een in- of externe harde schijf). Bewaar je bestanden bijvoorbeeld zowel lokaal, op een harde schijf of een externe schijf als in de cloud. Controleer op regelmatige tijdstippen (bijvoorbeeld 1 keer per jaar) de integriteit van de bestanden via checksums. Zo controleer je of de enen en nullen waaruit het bestand bestaat hetzelfde blijven.&lt;br /&gt;
