Le Vlaams Architectuurinstituut (VAi) est le principal centre d’information sur l’architecture en Flandre et à Bruxelles. Le VAi crée un lieu de rencontre pour tous ceux qui veulent créer, partager et expérimenter l’architecture.

Nous organisons des expositions, des conférences, des débats, des publications et des événements, tels que Architectuurboek Vlaanderen et le Festival d’Architecture. De plus, le VAi représente la Flandre lors d’événements internationaux tels que la Biennale d’Architecture de Venise et est intégré dans un réseau mondial d’organisations architecturales. Le VAi gère une collection très riche d’archives d’architecture qui ne cesse de s’enrichir. À travers la collection, l’institut fait le lien entre le présent, le passé et l’avenir de l’architecture.

Travaillant au sein de VAi, le Centre de Connaissance s’engage pour le patrimoine culturel du architecture, urbanisme, design et entreprises de construction. Nous soutenons tous les acteurs qui développent des activités autour de ce patrimoine.

The Flanders Architecture Institute is the main centre for information about architecture from Flanders and Brussels. It creates a platform for everyone who wants to make, share and experience architecture.

Based in deSingel in Antwerp, we organize exhibitions, lectures, debates, publications and events, such as the Flanders Architectural Review and the biannual Festival of Architecture. Moreover, the institute represents Flanders at international events such as the Architecture Biennale in Venice and is embedded in a global network of architectural organisations.

The Flanders Architecture Institute manages an exceptionally rich collection of architectural archives that is constantly expanding. Through the collection, the institute links the present, past and future of architecture.

Working within the Flanders Architecture Institute, the Knowledge Centre is committed to the cultural heritage of design, ranging from interior, architecture to urbanism and construction companies. We support all actors who pursue activities involving this heritage.

La base de données Erfgoedinzicht se compose d'un module d'entrée dans lequel le patrimoine peut être décrit et géré de manière standardisée.

In deze databanken worden archieven en collecties op het hoogste niveau geregistreerd. Dat betekent dat ze per archief of collectie informatie geven over minimaal de titel, archiefvormer, omvang en datering van het archief of de collectie. De inhoud ervan wordt in grote lijnen beschreven, maar niet op stukniveau ontsloten.


In deze categorie zijn er ook databanken die archieven en collecties samenbrengen volgens type drager. Zo is er [https://www.hetarchief.be Het Archief] waar beeld en geluid uit de Vlaamse cultuur-, media- en overheidssector verzameld worden.

===Vlaamse erfgoeddatabanken=== 
[[Archiefbank Vlaanderen|De Archiefbank van Archiefpunt]] en [https://www.odis.be/hercules/_nl_home.php ODIS] zijn twee databanken die archieven van personen en organisaties uit heel Vlaanderen en Brussel samenbrengen. In deze databanken worden archieven en collecties op het hoogste niveau geregistreerd. Dat betekent dat ze per archief of collectie informatie geven over minimaal de titel, archiefvormer, omvang en datering van het archief of de collectie. De inhoud ervan wordt in grote lijnen beschreven, maar niet op stukniveau ontsloten.


In deze categorie zijn er ook databanken die archieven en collecties samenbrengen volgens type drager. Zo is er [https://www.hetarchief.be Het Archief] waar beeld en geluid uit de Vlaamse cultuur-, media- en overheidssector verzameld worden.

Vlaanderen heeft een rijkdom aan beeld en geluid, bewaard bij verschillende organisaties: van cultureelerfgoed- en podiumkunsteninstellingen tot overheid en omroepen. [[Meemoo, Vlaams instituut voor het archief|meemoo]], het vroegere VIAA, digitaliseert dit analoge audiovisuele materiaal waar nodig en bewaart het samen met bestaande digitale collecties duurzaam in zijn eigen archiefsysteem. Vaak is het materiaal zelf auteursrechtelijk beschermd en kan het dus niet zomaar online getoond worden. Op het [https://hetarchief.be/ hetarchief.be] kan je dus niet het beeld en geluid zelf raadplegen, maar wel beschrijvingen, titels en trefwoorden van de items die door meemoo gedigitaliseerd werden. ===Vlaamse erfgoeddatabanken=== 
[[Archiefbank Vlaanderen|De Archiefbank van Archiefpunt]] en [https://www.odis.be/hercules/_nl_home.php ODIS] zijn twee databanken die archieven van personen en organisaties uit heel Vlaanderen en Brussel samenbrengen. In deze databanken worden archieven en collecties op het hoogste niveau geregistreerd. Dat betekent dat ze per archief of collectie informatie geven over minimaal de titel, archiefvormer, omvang en datering van het archief of de collectie. De inhoud ervan wordt in grote lijnen beschreven, maar niet op stukniveau ontsloten.


In deze categorie zijn er ook databanken die archieven en collecties samenbrengen volgens type drager. Zo is er [https://www.hetarchief.be Het Archief] waar beeld en geluid uit de Vlaamse cultuur-, media- en overheidssector verzameld worden.

Vlaanderen heeft een rijkdom aan beeld en geluid, bewaard bij verschillende organisaties: van cultureelerfgoed- en podiumkunsteninstellingen tot overheid en omroepen. [[Meemoo, Vlaams instituut voor het archief|meemoo]], het vroegere VIAA, digitaliseert dit analoge audiovisuele materiaal waar nodig en bewaart het samen met bestaande digitale collecties duurzaam in zijn eigen archiefsysteem. Vaak is het materiaal zelf auteursrechtelijk beschermd en kan het dus niet zomaar online getoond worden. If the copyright status of your archive material allows, it makes sense to make your digital archive as visible as possible outside your own organisation’s website. Findability via online search engines is therefore an important argument. Leur contenu est décrit de manière générale, mais n'est pas accessible au niveau des pièces.

Les deux provinces souhaitent ainsi cartographier le patrimoine et encourager l'entretien du patrimoine culturel. La base de données Erfgoedinzicht se compose d'un module d'entrée dans lequel le patrimoine peut être décrit et géré de manière standardisée.

Vlaanderen telt heel wat gespecialiseerde erfgoedplatformen die archieven en collecties van kunstenaars en kunstenorganisaties vindbaar maken. Ze focussen elk op een eigen geografisch of thematisch afgebakend domein.

===Vlaamse erfgoeddatabanken=== 
[[Archiefbank Vlaanderen|De Archiefbank van Archiefpunt]] en [https://www.odis.be/hercules/_nl_home.php ODIS] zijn twee databanken die archieven van personen en organisaties uit heel Vlaanderen en Brussel samenbrengen. In deze databanken worden archieven en collecties op het hoogste niveau geregistreerd. Dat betekent dat ze per archief of collectie informatie geven over minimaal de titel, archiefvormer, omvang en datering van het archief of de collectie. De inhoud ervan wordt in grote lijnen beschreven, maar niet op stukniveau ontsloten.


In deze categorie zijn er ook databanken die archieven en collecties samenbrengen volgens type drager. Zo is er [https://www.hetarchief.be Het Archief] waar beeld en geluid uit de Vlaamse cultuur-, media- en overheidssector verzameld worden.

In deze databanken worden archieven en collecties op het hoogste niveau geregistreerd. Dat betekent dat ze per archief of collectie informatie geven over minimaal de titel, archiefvormer, omvang en datering van het archief of de collectie. De inhoud ervan wordt in grote lijnen beschreven, maar niet op stukniveau ontsloten.


In deze categorie zijn er ook databanken die archieven en collecties samenbrengen volgens type drager. Zo is er [https://www.hetarchief.be Het Archief] waar beeld en geluid uit de Vlaamse cultuur-, media- en overheidssector verzameld worden.

[[Meemoo, Vlaams instituut voor het archief|meemoo]], het vroegere VIAA, digitaliseert dit analoge audiovisuele materiaal waar nodig en bewaart het samen met bestaande digitale collecties duurzaam in zijn eigen archiefsysteem. Vaak is het materiaal zelf auteursrechtelijk beschermd en kan het dus niet zomaar online getoond worden. Op het [https://hetarchief.be/ hetarchief.be] kan je dus niet het beeld en geluid zelf raadplegen, maar wel beschrijvingen, titels en trefwoorden van de items die door meemoo gedigitaliseerd werden. Erfgoedinzicht staat momenteel enkel open voor aangesloten instellingen. Onder meer S.M.A.K. en MDD - Museum D'Hondt-Dhaenens zijn partnerinstellingen.

Naast de databanken voor de provincies Vlaams-Brabant, Limburg en West- en Oost-Vlaanderen zijn er ook online platformen die erfgoed van een stad, gemeente of regio verzamelen. Erfgoed- en beeldbanken schieten als paddenstoelen uit de grond. Dat maakt dat onderstaande lijst mogelijk niet volledig is. Staat jouw regio, stad of gemeente dus niet in deze lijst, neem dan contact op met de erfgoedcel uit jouw regio.
